I’m finally at a point I’m my life where I can part with my “baby stuff”. The diaper change mat that I have had, I realize, for 10 years is gone and anything potty-related is almost nonexistent.
I feel a sense of relief with bouts of baby fever every now and then. Those little fingers and toes always give me butterflies and I can’t help but hold them for longer. My two little men are growing up and I’m feeling the time fly. So I give so much time to them and let them grow on me and with me.
Peter is home all of the time and it’s quite a difference from over 2 years ago when he was working at Pinnacle Sports. We have become a close-knit family, so much so, that I am reminded by my youth, the good ol’ days. Those days were beautiful to me, being home with my mom and dad, sister and brother. In between my boredom. I’m not as close to them now as I was then but I like how far I’ve come with my own family— it’s just as when I was young!
